In order to process orders, deal with queries and maintain your account, the following information is collected and stored:
- First name
- Last name
- Sizes for fitting where appropriate
- Phone number
- Email address
- Account password (if you have one)
- Delivery address(es)
- Billing address(es)
Email correspondence is kept in gmail. It is kept as a record of your purchase so that arrangements and discussions may be recalled and thus, ensure a satisfactory experience for the customer and help to resolve any potential issues.
Squarespace places cookies on your devices in order to provide an enhanced service. While they help to understand how the website is used and accessed, these are not strictly necessary and can be disabled or approved by you on accessing the website.
Bank details are kept on third party secure systems (Paypal and Stripe).

Personal details relating to your account helenmaryrodger.com (name, number, address, email and so on) are stored on Squarespace secure servers.
Your bank details are stored independently and securely on third party tools – Paypal and/or Stripe.
Email address and email correspondence are stored on gmail.

Helenmaryrodger.com is hosted using Squarespace servers. Squarespace uses and maintains the highest levels of security and uses high-level SSL encryption technology. Every page of the website where you enter your personal details such as name, surname, address, phone, password are secure and you will be able to see a padlock and “https” on the left corner of your browser.
Secure third-party payment gateways (Paypal and Stripe) are used to process your payments and will be securely processed by their servers. Your payment details are not digitally stored anywhere else by helenmaryrodger.com.
In the event that you have provided card or bank account details outside of the website (for example over the phone), they will be securely stored on paper and destroyed once the transaction is complete.
In order to ensure that your personal details are not subject to unauthorised access, inappropriate use, and disclosure, unauthorised destruction or accidental loss, I never duplicate or transfer information outside of these systems beyond agreed purposes for sharing - see next

In order to fulfil your order, details such as delivery address and contact numbers (where appropriate) will be shared with Royal Mail or courier services as agreed.
Your personal details will never be passed to other companies for marketing purposes.
Third party service providers such as Google or Facebook are not currently used to serve adverts to you.

Your information is kept for as long as you keep shopping with helenmaryrodger.com. From time to time information is reviewed, and any that is no longer required for the purposes it was collected for is deleted.

You can always edit your personal details by logging in to your account and going to My Account -> My Details.

For email subscriptions, you can update your preferences/unsubscribe by clicking Update Preferences or Unsubscribe in one of the newsletters or by using the contact me form at helenmaryrodgerjewellery@gmail.com.
You have the right to access, download, correct or delete any personal data by using the contact me form at helenmaryrodgerjewellery@gmail.com. I will deal with your request as soon as possible but please allow a maximum of 30 days to process it. Please specify the following information in your written request e.g. : subject “data access request”, and make sure to include your full name, address and phone number so that I can contact you.
If you have any complaints about using your data please contact me and I will do my best to resolve the issue. If you feel your complaint has not been resolved satisfactorily, you have the right to contact Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) on 0303 123 1113 or via their website at ico.org.uk.
